HCCHS Blank Centered 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (12/16/18) — Hopkins County Central remained in the loss column on the road on Friday night as host Hopkinsville pulled away to win 77-40 in a non-district boys' high school basketball game.

Hopkinsville dealt Hopkins County Central its second straight loss. Following its latest setback, Hopkins County Central slipped to 2-3.

The victory allowed Hopkinsville to improve to 5-2.

Hopkinsville outscored Hopkins County Central 17-8 in the opening quarter and led 37-16 at halftime.

Ethan Putty paced Hopkins County Central with 13 points and four assists.

Another player, Adrian Stringer, added a double-double for the Storm, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
