DCOWENSBORO, Ky. (10/12/18) — Chloe Hinchcliffe scored three goals to recorded a hat trick and lead Daviess County over rival Owensboro Catholic 6-1 in the 9th District Girls' Soccer Tournament championship match at Apollo on Thursday.

With the win, Daviess County improved to 9-5-2.

Owensboro Catholic dropped to 11-6-1 with the loss.

Both Daviess County and Owensboro Catholic advance to the 3rd Region Girls' Soccer Tournament.

Daviess County separated itself from Owensboro Catholic in the second half after leading 2-1 at halftime.

Accompanying Hinchcliffe in the Daviess County scoring column, Ashlyn Payton, Harlee Rone and Hannah Hurt added one goal apiece.

Payton, Avery McNeily and Bobbi Sandifer delivered assists for the Lady Panthers.

Isabelle Stanfield netted Owensboro Catholic's lone goal in the loss.
