hend police arrest4 300HENDERSON, Ky. (12/6/17) — U.S. Marshals apprehended a 17-year-old male during a traffic stop in Owensboro today.

Henderson Police Department reported the unnamed juvenile was wanted on complicity to murder and first-degree robbery in connection to the death of a 21-year-old Illinois resident, Devin Fields, who was gunned down in Henderson last month.

HPD indicated receiving information the youth fled the area after the Nov. 10 shooting investigation. He was taken to an unnamed juvenile detention facility today.

In a Friday HPD press release, Detective Jake Isonhood charged 18-year-old Deangelo Pollard with murder and first-degree robbery related the the shooting death of Fields. U.S. Marshals apprehended Pollard at a residence in Albion, Illinois after fleeing the Henderson area last month. Pollard is awaiting extradition from Illinois in connection to the HPD investigation.
