Wishon 1 11HENDERSON, Ky. (1/11/18) — An Owensboro man allegedly trying to pawn stolen jewelry from a Henderson business was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Henderson.

According to a Henderson Police Department report, officers responded to a call at Bullet’s Pawn after a worker became suspicious of a man trying to pawn jewelry and a drill.

Police believed those items were connected to a burglary they investigated Jan. 3 at the Gold Mine, located at North Main Street in Henderson.

After a search of Randall Lynn Wishon’s vehicle, officers reported finding jewelry, sunglasses, boots and purses that “were stolen from the Gold Mine.”

Police indicated “most of the items still had price tags attached,” and listed recovering pry bars and an air shim used to previously break into the business.

Wishon, 28 of Owensboro was charged with third-degree burglary and taken to Henderson County Jail, where he was listed as being held this morning on $4,000 cash bond.

Detective Jake Isonhood investigated.
