Kentucky highway crews have placed portable message boards along U.S. 41 near Audubon Park between Henderson and the U.S. 41 twin bridges to alert drivers to deer attempting to cross the roadway in large numbers, KYTC reported. When the Ohio River passes 40 feet on the Evansville gauge, deer are no longer able to travel along the Kentucky shoreline under the U.S. 41 twin bridges approach spans.

With additional rain the weather forecast this week, and current river level predict U.S. 41 at the 18-19 mile-marker through Wednesday, February 28 and beyond.
