Estes JHENDERSON, Ky. (4/16/18) — Detectives with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force and Henderson County Sheriff’s Office say more arrests are likely following an undercover drug investigation that led to one recent arrest.

Detectives reported monitoring Jeffrey Allan Estes, 28 of Henderson, during a delivery of approximately 3.50 grams of meth to an individual at the E-Z Shop off South Green Street in Henderson Thursday night. During surveillance on the transaction, detectives were able to take Estes into custody without incident.

Authorities reported seizing additional amounts of methamphetamine, marijuana and cash from Estes who, according to the report, made the special delivery riding a moped.

Estes, currently on probation, was charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance-meth (more than 2 grams of meth/second offense). He was also charged with possession of marijuana.

Estes was listed as being held in Henderson County Jail this afternoon on $2,500 cash bond.

The task force is continuing its illegal drug trafficking investigation on the east side of town.
