Henderson Seal 02 300HENDERSON, Ky. (5/15/18) — Trash collection in the city of Henderson and services at the landfill/transfer station will be operating on a different schedule during the week of the Memorial Day holiday.

There will be no trash collection Monday, May 28, according to Sanitation Superintendent Sam Lingerfelt. The normal Monday routes and Tuesday routes north of 12th Street will be collected Tuesday, May 29.

The remainder of Tuesday routes and Wednesday routes will be collected Wednesday, May 30. The remainder of the week will be as normal.

City officials asks residents to have trash out by 6 a.m.

The landfill/transfer station also will be closed Monday, May 28. It will reopen for normal operations 7a.m. Tuesday, May 29.
