PostalHENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (9/19/18) — Emergency responders were dispatched to an accident off U.S. 60-E this afternoon involving a mail carrier vehicle.

A U.S. Postal Service truck struck a home after a passenger car rear ended it as the mail worker was making a right turn onto Thornridge Drive around 1 p.m., Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The driver of the the passenger car was identified as James Miller, 86 of Tell City Indiana. USPS worker April Hogan, 49, was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment of injuries, HCSO reported.

Baskett and Spottsville Fire departments, Henderson EMA and Henderson EMS assisted at the scene.
