Wreck 1 11

HENDERSON, Ky. (1/11/19) — Weather conditions appear to be affecting travel in the Henderson area.

According to Henderson Fire Department, crews have responded to three accidents this evening.

There were incidents previously reported along Elm Street and the twin bridges. Emergency crews responded to a third incident on US. 60-E. The driver refused treatment at the scene following a spinout that occurred around 7 p.m.

HFD said, “Roads are slippery and conditions are expected to worsen. If you absolutely do not have to be on the streets tonight, please stay indoors.”

Authorities urge drivers to use caution and allow extra distance in order to stop.

At 7:42 p.m., roads were covered with snow, causing slick conditions. Winter precipitation is heaver in some areas. U.S. 60-E, U.S. 41-N and bridges are snow covered.
