Yates BrownHENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (1/12/19) — Two Henderson men face multiple charges after allegedly fleeing from deputies Friday afternoon.

According to Henderson County Sheriff's Office, Michael J. Yates, 31 of Henderson, was arrested along Maple Street on a Kentucky State Police warrant issued on the charges of kidnapping, fourth-degree assault-domestic violence, third-degree terroristic threatening, Violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO and theft by unlawful taking (less than $10,000).

Yates was seen in the area of Clay Street in Henderson and, after an hour searching for him, he was located and taken into custody without incident, HCSO reported.

Yates was listed as being held in Henderson County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Deputies reported Richard W. Brown, 36 of Henderson, was also located at the residence and ran from officers. He was found at Henderson Station Apartments off Washington Street and served two warrants on the charges of failure to appear. He also had two criminal summonses on violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO.

Brown was being held in the county jail on $6,000 bond.

In another HCSO report, a Henderson woman was picked up by authorities in Mayfield this afternoon for allegedly making $18,000 in credit card purchases in the Henderson/Evansville area. Deputies revealed they launched an investigation after the credit card was reported stolen.

BrownAmanda Rae Brown, 33, was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card.
