Black History Month 300x300HENDERSON, Ky. (2/8/19) — Henderson County Public Library is celebrating Black History Month with a special event 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16.

Residents of all ages are invited to participate in crafts and games 11 a.m. in the children’s department followed by a special presentation 1 p.m. at Presbyterian Church off Main Street.

“Rhymes, Roots, and Rhythm” will feature a drum and dance performance at the church by Sankofa of Nashville, Tennessee.

Registration is not required and there is no fee to attend, library staff said.
