HENDERSON, Ky. (2/9/19) — Individuals involved in an early morning rollover accident at North Green and Sixth streets have been identified.

Henderson Police Department reported De’aven Wilson, 20 of Madisonville, was driving north on Green Street, when he left the road and struck a utility pole at 6:30 a.m.

Wilson’s vehicle overturned and hit the light pole, which snapped in half. An apparent passenger, Joann Fritz, was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment of possible injuries, according to the HPD report.

Green Street was closed until around noon as Henderson utility crews worked to replace the damaged pole.

HENDERSON, Ky. (2/9/19) — One person was injured after a vehicle rollover incident along U.S. 60/ North Green Street before 7 this morning.

One individual was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment of his injuries. His vehicle struck a light pole, causing it to snap in half.

Henderson Emergency Management Agency reported Green Street, between Fifth and Eighth, will be closed throughout the morning. State highway officials reported traffic is being directed around that area, and all lanes are blocked.

Henderson Municipal Power and Light crews are still working to restore power in the area, as several businesses and residents are affected.

Henderson Fire and Police departments and EMS responded to the scene.
