Hend 3 14HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (3/14/19) — The Henderson County area has experienced a series of weather events throughout the morning, with severe weather continuing into this afternoon.

Flash flooding can be seen affecting traffic all around the county, particulary along North Green Street in front of Casey’s store after storms brought measurable rainfall. A utility pole off U.S. 60-E at Greenleaf Apartments was leaning due to strong winds. There were reports of a few trees down around the Henderson County area.

Henderson EMA asks residents to remain alert as more storms were passing through during the noon hour.

Tornadoes were confirmed in Paducah and Union County this morning. NWS in Paducah issued a tornado warning shortly after noon for the Spottsville area. The region remains under a tornado watch through 4 p.m.
