road traffic conesHENDERSON, Ky. (7/8/19) — A milling and paving project along U.S. 41 through Henderson is substantially complete.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans one more round of lane restrictions along the project area starting around 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 9.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane in short sections along U.S. 41 between the Kentucky 425 Henderson Bypass at the End of Interstate 69 and the U.S. 60 North Cloverleaf at Henderson to allow paving testing.  Traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane in this mobile work zone.
The project along U.S. 41 runs from milepoint 11.525 at the Interstate 69/U.S. 41/Kentucky 425 Henderson Bypass Interchange extending along U.S. 41 northward through  the Audubon Parkway Interchange, the Kentucky 351/Zion Road Henderson Interchange, and the U.S. 41/U.S. 60 North Henderson Cloverleaf to near the Tumbleweed Restaurant entrance at mile point 16.047, a distance of about 4.5 miles.

The pavement testing is expected to be complete by about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The contractor with then work to complete placement of thermal pavement markings to finish out the project.
