Sugar Creek InnHENDERSON, Ky. (8/14/19) — Three Henderson residents were arrested following drug investigations at a local motel off U.S. 41-N.

Henderson Police Department reported officers and Kentucky State Police Task Force DESI-West served a search warrant at Sugar Creek Inn room No. 225 Aug. 7.

HPD revealed more than 10 grams of methamphetamine, two digital scales and drug paraphernalia were found in the motel room.

As a result of the investigation, Michael Bellew, 48, was charged Tuesday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth-more than 2 grams).

HPD also reported officers and KSP authorities served another search warrant Tuesday in room 213 at Sugar Creek Inn, where meth, digital scales and drug paraphernalia were found. Kara Horn, 27, and April Mullett, 33, were each charged Tuesday with possession of meth and taken to Henderson County Jail.
