HendersonPD logoUPDATE: HENDERSON, Ky. (8/15/19) — Henderson city officials reported this afternoon the bus driver facing a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure issued by city police last month has been suspended without pay, pending to result of the July 18 charge.

Officials said the alleged incident occurred last month, while the driver was "on his lunch hour and in his personal vehicle."

In additon to court proceedings, the city worker is subject to civil service procedures, Henderson officials reported, which provides him the right to a hearing before the board.

HENDERSON, Ky. (8/15/19) — Henderson Police Department reports a city bus driver was issued a citation for alleged indecent exposure.

HPD reported in a news release today that an unidentified woman claimed the Henderson Area Rapid Transit driver, identified as Timothy Givens of Henderson, took her to eat lunch at Taco Bell during his break July 16. The incident location was listed as Third and North Main streets.

During lunch, the woman claimed Givens told her that he was “sexually aroused by her,” according to the HPD report, began pleasuring himself in her presence and tried to place her hand on certain areas of his body. He also attempted to touch her chest area, according to the woman.

Police reported Givens was interviewed at the station July 18, admitting to touching his private parts, but denied exposing them.

Police issued Givens a citation on second-degree indecent exposure.
