HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (1/22/20) — Two adults and two children have been displaced after a fire claimed their home this morning off Old U.S. 60 in Spottsville.

Firefighters responded to the scene just before 10 a.m. to find the home fully involved in flames.

Spottsville Fire Department Chief Nick Risley reported crews knocked down the blaze in 10 minutes followed by three hours of overhaul and extinguishing remaining hot spots.

One woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, the chief said.

The cause of the fire was deemed undetermined following an investigation. Officials do not suspect foul play. Baskett Fire Department, Henderson Rescue, Henderson EMA and the Red Cross assisted at the scene.
