Owensboro Catholic logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (2/9/19) — All 'A' Classic champion Owensboro Catholic dominated in its latest outing, rolling over host Owensboro 59-29 in a 9th District girls' basketball game on Friday night.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 10-6 overall and 6-0 in the 9th District.

Owensboro dropped to 12-15 overall and 2-4 in the district with the loss.

The Lady Aces set the tone early, outscoring Owensboro 23-7 in the first quarter. Owensboro Catholic led 35-13 at halftime.

Adding to its lead early in the second half, Owensboro Catholic outscored Owensboro 19-2 in the third quarter.

MacKenzie Keelin led Owensboro Catholic with a game-high 22 points. Narrowly missing double figures for the Lady Aces, Sarah Clemens and Hannah McKay netted nine points apiece. Another Owensboro Catholic player, Ally Maggard, added eight points.

Mykael Winstead paced Owensboro with eight points.
