maroons soccerballMADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/14/19) — Madisonville-North Hopkins notched its second consecutive win on Tuesday, shutting out visiting Fort Campbell 10-0 in an early-season boys' high school soccer game.

Simen Lind and Jeshua DeLeon each recorded a hat trick to lead Madisonville-North Hopkins to the victory.

Zachary Brown followed Lind and DeLeon in scoring for Madisonville-North Hopkins, adding two goals.

Rounding out the Maroons' individual scoring, JJ Brown and Noah Jimenez netted one goal apiece.

Lind and Brown dished out two assists apiece for the Maroons. Eight of the Maroons' 10 goals came from passes as Luke McElroy, Tanner Ray, Isaac Parrish and Tate Young distributed one assist apiece.

Goalkeeper Alex Brooks led Madisonville-North Hopkins defensively, recording a shutout with three saves.
