Hopkins Central Storm SoccerMADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/18/19) — Hopkins County Central notched its first win in the 2019 boys' high school soccer season on Saturday, blanking visiting Todd County Central 6-0.

With the win, Hopkins County Central improved to 1-0-1.

Todd County Central dropped to 0-2 with the loss.

The Storm used a balanced offensive attack to win convincingly. Chase Garrett, Colin Garrett, Austin Sifuentes, Carlos Sifuentes, Jesus Gallegos and Jaxon Greer netted one goal apiece for Hopkins County Central in the victory. Along with entering the scoring column, Collin Garrett and Austin Sifuentes recorded one assist apiece for the Storm.

Splitting time at goalkeeper for Hopkins County Central, Chase Garrett and Trevor Weldon combined to register a shutout and three saves.
