Hopkins Central Storm SoccerMADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/20/19) — Hopkins County Central suffered heartbreak as visiting Trigg County, a 2nd Region rival from the 5th District, held on to win 1-0 in a boys' high school soccer match on Monday.

With the loss, Hopkins County Central slipped to 1-2.

Remaining undefeated, Trigg County moved to 4-0 with the win.

Colin Stevens scored the only goal to lead Trigg County to the emotional victory. Keller Nichols provided the assist on Stevens' goal.

Defensively for Trigg County, goalkeeper Matthew Smith held Hopkins County Central scoreless.
