Pearl Harbor Rememberance DayMADISONVILLE, Ky. (12/6/17) — Flags will be flown at half-staff Thursday to commemorate those affected during the attack on Pearl Harbor, city officials announced.

“Flags are being flown at half-staff in remembrance of the lives lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor — Dec. 7, 1941,” Mayor David Jackson said in a statement. “We also remember Navy Ensign Lewis Bailey Pride Jr.— a native son to us —who was lost aboard the USS Oklahoma during the attack.”
