Vehicle Pursuit 01 300DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (12/20/17) — Dawson Springs Police Department assisted Caldwell County authorities as a man led officers into Hopkins County during a vehicle pursuit after noon today.

Dawson Springs Police Chief Coleman Dixon said the driver in the alleged stolen pickup truck crashed along Fork Springs Road, and then fled on foot.

Their K-9 officer led authorities for about 1.5 miles to a roadway, Dixon indicated. It is believed the suspect was picked up by someone in another vehicle.

Police have not yet identified the elusive man.
