mcc2 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (1/2/18) — Madisonville Community College is holding late registration for spring semester students through Friday, with extended hours Thursday and Saturday, college officials announced today.

To help those students who may be working during the week, the college will offer two extended-hour sessions. Offices will be open until 6 p.m. Thursday. The special Saturday admission and registration event is 9 a.m.-noon at the north campus. Students may be admitted on the spot and meet with an academic advisor to schedule classes. The college’s financial aid office and bookstore will also be open during that time. No appointment is necessary.

“This is a great opportunity for students who may be waiting to make their decision," Aimee Wilkerson, dean of enrollment management, said. "Advisors are ready and able to help, and there are still lots of great classes open.”

Staff will be available to assist students with the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship application as well, MCC indicated. This scholarship provides free tuition for selected short-term certificate programs in high demand fields for students without a college degree. Madisonville has more than 50 programs eligible for the scholarship.

To learn more, visit or contact the MCC Enrollment Center at (270) 824-8657 or the college’s website at www.madisonville.kctcs.
