kystatepoliceimage 300NORTONVILLE, Ky. (1/22/18) — A Nortonville driver faces a number of moving violation charges after allegedly failing to pull over for a trooper engaging the traffic stop.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 reported receiving a complaint about a reckless driver behind the wheel of a Jeep at 5:36 p.m. Sunday. Trooper John Eilert spotted the vehicle along U.S. 62 near Nortonville and prompted the man to pull over.

The driver, identified as Christopher M. Kennedy, 25 of White Plains, disregarded the trooper’s blue lights and continued traveling east before turning into a driveway on Kentucky 813 in White Plains, according to the report.

Kennedy was arrested and charged with failure to illuminate headlights, no seat belt usage, reckless driving, no driver’s license, second-degree fleeing or evading police and DUI.
