Arrests 2 1HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (2/1/1/18) — Four people face charges after Hopkins County authorities raided a home along Hanks Road in White Plains this week.

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reported visiting a residence Monday night belonging to Tyler Ward, who was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants. Deputies found Ward hiding in a closet.

Three others at the home were also arrested after deputies saw numerous drug-related items and packaging materials consistent with distribution and sales of illegal drugs in plain sight, according to Sgt. Ryan Bailey’s report. More than two ounces of crystal methamphetamine, a handgun, marijuana and paraphernalia were confiscated. K-9 “Nala” assisted in the search.

Ward, 26, was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth/weapon enhanced), possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of marijuana.

Ward was being held in Hopkins County Jail on $10,000 cash bond today on those charges. He was also served two warrants on failure to appear in addition to a Muhlenberg County warrant.

Megan Boucher, 26 of Hanson, was also charged with first-degree trafficking in meth (weapon enhanced), possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), and other outstanding charges. She was listed as being held in the county jail on $5,000 cash bond.

Elizabeth Dukes, 44 of Hopkinsville was charged with first-degree possession of meth (third or greater offense), possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana in addition to second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension. She was released from jail Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Richard Brinkley, 28 of Providence was charged with first-degree possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana in addition to failure to appear. He was being held in Hopkins County Jail on $6,500 bond, according to the jail website.
