UPDATE: HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (3/12/18) — Kentucky State Police reported an inmate that fled from work detail in Madisonville last week has been located.

Post 2 indicated Wilton Hollifield was picked up by Jessamine County Sheriff’s Department at noon today.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/8/18) — Kentucky State Police Post 2 requests assistance in finding a Hopkins County Jail inmate that drove away from work release in Madisonville today.

KSP Trooper Rob Austin reported Wilton E. Hollified, 40, left around 11 a.m. in a city of Madisonville 2003 Ford F-150 pickup. He was seen driving south along U.S. 41.

Madisonville city officials reported he stole the truck while on work release at City Hall.

Hollifield was last seen wearing khaki pants and a white T-shirt. He was serving time in Hopkins County Jail for third-degree burglary and fraudulent use of a credit card, KSP indicated.

He is described as a white male, 6-feet-1, 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the escapee’s whereabouts is asked to call KSP at (270) 676-3313 or 911. Callers may remain anonymous.
