Womens Luncheon 3HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (3/12/18) — The Madisonville-Hopkins County Economic Development Corp. announced today the Fourth Women’s Entrepreneurial Luncheon sponsored by Hancock Bank will be held 11:30 a.m. April 26 at Catering and Creations, 3295 North Main St., Madisonville.

The cost to attent the public event is $20, which will begin with a luncheon and culminate with a keynote address.

This year, the EDC is adding an award to the event through a nomination process for the public to participate. Organizers want to know who goes beyond the call of duty, boosts morale and contributes to an area company in a way that provides harmony and unison.

Hancock Bank spokesperson Karen Tapp said in a statement, “We, at Hancock Bank, are not only proud to have the opportunity to promote women in business throughout our community, but we are excited to hear from those businesses about the women who make a difference in their workplace. We all have that one gal who puts some spark into the daily grind and we want to reward her positive efforts.”

The electronic awards nomination form is available through the Kentucky Innovation Station website, www.kentuckyinnovationstation.com, or nominations forms can be found here.

Visit the event page and the form will be available under the Women’s Luncheon section. All nominations must be submitted by April 15 for review. Two tickets for the luncheon will be awarded to the chosen recipient and a gift basket will be presented at the event.
