accident injuries amb 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (4/23/18) — Authorities spotted a man walking down the middle of I-69 northbound lanes at 4:13 a.m. Sunday near Madisonville.

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reported the man was identified by Madisonville Police Department as Ryan Foreman, 21 of Madisonville. He was “extremely confused and bleeding from the head,” and unsure how he got there.

After Deputy Angela Hopper spoke to Foreman, it was apparent that he was involved in a crash, HCSO reported. Deputies located the wreckage about a quarter-mile south.

Preliminary investigation revealed Foreman was driving north around mile-marker 114 in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, when he overcorrected and left the east side of the interstate. Foreman’s vehicle struck an earthen embankment, went airborne and overturned several times. The vehicle came to rest in a field near Victory Church.

Foreman was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment of injuries related to the incident.
