Burglary 5 20MADISONVILLE, Ky. (5/20/18) — Three individuals were taken to the county jail after city police investigated an alleged burglary complaint at a Park Avenue home. The tenant told officers no one was authorized to be there.

Madisonville Police Department reported responding to the 200 block residence at 10:28 a.m. Saturday and apprehended two of the suspects. After a search, officers found a man with outstanding Muhlenberg and Hopkins county warrants hiding under a bed.

The people were identified as Thomas Smith, 30 of Earlington, Rachel N. Meece, 21 of Hopkinsville and Ryan C. Bryant, 33 of Madisonville.

All three were charged with first-degree criminal trespassing. Meece was additionally charged with possession of marijuana, and Smith was served outstanding warrants.
