Carlisle MMADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/17/18) — A Madisonville woman who allegedly tried to elude officers this morning was arrested.

Madisonville Police Department reported patrolmen responded to Market Place at approximately 11:20 a.m. in reference to a shoplifting complaint.

When officers arrived, a woman identified as 39-year-old Mindy E. Carlisle left the scene in a vehicle, according to a preliminary news release. She led police in a brief pursuit along South Main Street and turned into Brentwood Subdivision, where she got out and ran behind houses.

MPD reported Carlisle was taken into custody and charged with first- and second-degree fleeing police and third-degree criminal trespassing. She was also served a Muhlenberg County warrant on failure to appear.

Carlisle was listed as being held in Hopkins County Jail this afternoon, pending bond.
