Mortons Gap 9 18MORTONS GAP, Ky. (9/18/18) — Two Hopkins County Central High School brothers on their way to school in an older model pickup were treated for injuries at 7:30 a.m. today after the truck went off Kentucky 813 and traveled down to the shoulder of I-69.

The brothers, Clayton and Owen Sisk, said they were on their way to school, when someone ran them off the road. The driver of the other vehicle continued on.

South Hopkins Volunteer Fire Department responded to aid victims. They were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Several crashes were reported around the county around the same time. Three vehicles collided on South Main Street at the edge of Madisonville. Another vehicle went off Nebo Road believed to be caused by a medical emergency.
