OakleyHENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (1/9/19) — A Madisonville man accused of drug trafficking and DUI was arrested after authorities reported receiving calls about a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road in Henderson this evening.

Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reported deputies went to Kentucky 425 on a call about a grey Chevy Blazer traveling in the wrong lane at 4:13 p.m. Another tip led them to U.S. 41-S related to the same type of vehicle reported to be moving in a reckless manner.

Deputies spotted the blazer in the vicinity of a pizza joint, and then pulled over the driver near Tyson, according to authorities.

The individual was identified as 40-year-old Joshua Oakley.

Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted in charging Oakley, HCSO reported, noting he had a large quantity of possible hydrocodone pills and methamphetamine.

Oakley was charged with DUI (fourth or greater offense), driving on a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance and trafficking in meth. He was listed as being held in Henderson County Jail tonight, pending bond.
