mcc schoolbuilding 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/5/19) — Registration is ongoing and space is open for a number of late-start courses at Madisonville Community College for the spring semester.

College officials said the bi-term begins for students Monday, March 18. For the first time in many years, selected Saturday courses are also available.

“Students still have a variety of options for fall courses," dean of enrollment manager Aimee Wilkerson said. "There are a lot of general education classes, technical classes, and others on all campuses that are open. If you missed the January deadline, don’t worry, we have plenty of classes to get you started on a new career or ready for transfer down the road.”

Special Saturday course sections open in the bi-term include classes in welding, nurse aid, and electrocardiogram training. Eligible students can still receive financial aid, grants and scholarships for the spring semester. The Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship is still available and can be used to cover tuition costs for several technical and career degree and certificate programs.
