hcs 300 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (5/13/19) — Registration for the Hopkins County Schools Summer Program May 29-31 is underway, school officials reported.

Space is limited for certain classes being offered to middle and high school students, HCS reported. Activities are free and will be held at the Hopkins County Career and Tech Center, 1775 Patriot Drive in Madisonville. Lunch is provided. Contact school family resource/youth services coordinators to sign up for all or particular classes.

Listed below is the Summer Program schedule:

Wednesday, May 29 — “Our Forgotten History” fashion show/etiquette — 9 a.m.-noon, followed by “Social Media Safety” snapchat/internet/instagram set for 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 30 — “Babysitting and CPR Certification Training — 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for the first 12 students to register.

Friday, May 31 — “Soft Skills Training” — 9-10 a.m., followed by a “Relationships” class set for 10-11 a.m. and “Healthy Foods/Gardening” at 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
