Ferrells 1MADISONVILLE, Ky. (5/29/19) — Those who have been craving a Ferrell’s hamburger will have the opportunity once again in downtown Madisonville — just in time for the June 14 Friday Night Live event.

Hopkins County Regional Chamber of Commerce reported Ferrell’s Snappy Service will officially reopen for business Friday, June 14.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 13 at the location, 27 N. Main St. in Madisonville. The restaurant’s interior was claimed by fire in September and has been reclaimed by its previous owner.

After the ribbon-cutting, the Chamber reports the newly renovated restaurant will be open for tours and visitors can witness the first burger off the grill. It will be presented to Reid Davis, who was the highest burger bidder during a Madisonville-Hopkins County Public Library silent auction event.

Ferrell's has been a landmark in Madisonville for nearly a century.
