drug arrest meth 03 300NORTONVILLE, Ky. (6/14/19) — A federal drug-trafficking arrest warrant was served to a Nortonville resident this afternoon.

According to Madisonville/Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit, Kentucky State Police DESI West and local vice unit members went to pay the man a visit at 3:30 p.m.

Travis S. Baldwin, 28, also known as Rockhead, was at his garage off the 10,000 block of Hopkinsville Road. He is a suspect involving an FBI drug trafficking investigation in conjunction with local and state authorities, HCSO Detective Steve Bryan wrote.

Baldwin was issued the indictment warrant listing that Baldwin “conspired and agreed with other persons to knowingly and intentionally possess with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.”

Baldwin was charged with conspiracy to distribute meth.

He faces 10 years-life in prison and a maximum $10 million penalty, according to the report. More indictments are expected to follow.

He was taken to Hopkins County Jail today, pending an initial appearance in federal court. HCSO deputies assisted in today’s arrest.
