WadeMADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/17/19) — Baptist Health Madisonville has named Wade Williams as the new director of safety and security, hospital officials announced today.

Williams, a U.S. Army veteran, previoulsy worked for the Madisonville Police Department 1998-2018, serving as chief of police for the last seven years at MPD. Most recently, he was program manager of Groves Electrical Services.

Williams received a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana, and a master’s degree in public administration from Murray State University.

“Baptist Health Madisonville is excited to welcome Wade to our team,” stated hospital president Robert Ramey. “To have someone with his level of experience and expertise in the area of safety and security will be a great asset to our organization.”

Hospital officials said Williams began his new role June 10.
