ennis arrestNORTONVILLE, Ky. (7/8/19) — The report of a reckless, speeding driver on I69 resulted in the arrest of a Princeton man last night in Nortonville.

Kentucky State Police said the report came in just before 8 p.m. That a small, maroon passenger car was headed north speeding and driving recklessly.

Trooper Cody Kromer located the vehicle at the 105 mile marker and observed the pattern of the driver. When he stopped the vehicle, the driver appeared under the influence, said KSP. Further investigation revealed the driver was under the influence and had drug paraphernalia on him. Inside the vehicle, the trooper found multiple prescription pills and what appeared to be methamphetamine.

KSP charged Logan Ennis, 22, with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. - third offense, failure to produce insurance card, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, third-degree possession of a controlled substance/drug unspecified, first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth – first offense, prescription controlled substance not in proper container – first offense and second-degree possession of a controlled substance/drug unspecified.

Ennis is being held in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
