taco 1MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/6/19) — A White Plains resident was served with an arrest warrant Monday night in Nortonville.

Madisonville/Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit reported its detectives along with Kentucky State Police DESI-West picked up 25-year-old Kaleb D. Browning 5:30 p.m.

Browning, also known as “Taco,” was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth-greater or equal to 2 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During a summer investigation, detectives reported receiving information from confidants that “Taco” was a “significant source for crystal methamphetamine in the Nortonville/White Plains area.”

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office Detective Jared Ward listed on the report that Browning was previously found at Travis “Rockhead” Baldwin’s residence and in possession of more than 2 ounces of possible crystal meth and a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun as a federal indictment warrant was being served to Baldwin in June. Baldwin had a large sum of cash on him during that arrest.

Browning was listed as being held in Hopkins County jail today on $1,000 cash bond.
