BethelMCCSigning8.12.19MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/12/19) — Madisonville Community College and Bethel University recently entered into a new 2+2 articulation agreement that provides expanded transfer opportunities for associate degree graduates.

Dr. Cindy Kelley, MCC president, and Dr. Walter Butler, Bethel University president, were on hand for the recent ceremony.

Under the agreement, general education requirements will be met at Bethel upon completion of an associate in arts, associate in science, or an associate in applied science degree for select baccalaureate programs, MCC officials reported. In addition, Madisonville graduates who possess a 3.0 or higher GPA and enroll at Bethel through the partnership within three years of the graduation date will receive a one-time $500 scholarship. Madisonville students will also have their application fee of $30 waived if they complete all admission paperwork in their control within two weeks after submitting an application.

“This is another exciting transfer partnership for our students,” Kelley said. “Bethel University provides excellent academic programs that can help our students achieve their goals. We are excited to bring this opportunity to our students.”

Bethel has campus locations throughout Tennessee, including Clarksville, that provide bachelor’s degree programs in traditional settings in addition to many online programs. Students can choose from programs in the colleges of arts and sciences, health sciences, and professional studies.
