arrest hcs mpd 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/11/19) — Two Madisonville residents were arrested Monday on drug trafficking charges.

Madisonville/Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit report detectives probed the area of Victoria Trailer Park off Dulin Street after receiving numerous complaints and anonymous tips concerning drug sales from a camper at Lot 42.

The couple was identified as Kenneth Vannoy, 37, and 22-year-old Ashley Drugash. Vice reported detectives spotted Vannoy, who had an outstanding warrant, standing outside the home around 5 p.m.. and cuffed him. Police also met Vannoy’s girlfriend, Drugash, at the home, where a “large quantity of synthetic marijuana, large quantity of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking” were discovered along with a lot of cash.

Vannoy and Drugash were each charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance-meth (second or greater offense) and trafficking in synthetic drugs.

Drugash was released from Hopkins County Jail Tuesday on her own recognizance. Vannoy was listed as being held on $11,000 cash bond.
