DixieMADISONVILLE, Ky. (10/22/19) — Area motorcycle enthusiasts have warm hearts when it relates to kids.

Dixie Flyers Motorcycle Club based in Madisonville made a special delivery just ahead of the cold weather recently.

The bikers rolled into Breaking Bread Ministries off West Center Street early Saturday morning, donating 68 brand new coats to keep youth warm this winter.

Dixie Flyers Secretary Mike Shannon said volunteers at the local ministry helped distribute the coats to children in need.

“We gathered the coats ourselves,” Shannon said. “We previously held an event at our clubhouse to raise money to get coats for the kids, which was very successful. Kids are a gift, and we got to help them.”
