Earlington fireEARLINGTON, Ky. (10/23/19) — Several fire departments are working to gain control of a blaze that broke out at 426 Mimms Ave. in Earlington along the area known as Johnson Hill.

The home appeared to be fully engulfed in flames shortly after 7 p.m. as Earlington, Mortons Gap, Grapevine and St. Charles volunteer firefighters work to gain control of fire.

Heavy smoke and flames were visible from the road. It is believed a woman at the residence escaped the fire. A neighbor helped her off the porch and retrieved her dog.
