Impact 1WESTERN Ky. (11/27/19) — Impact Mentoring Inc., serving Hopkins and Muhlenberg counties, held the nonprofit’s annual Holiday Bowling Party at Melody Lanes in Madisonville recently.

Each year, heroes and sidekicks bring their families together for a night of fun, Impact Mentoring Director Sarah Cummins explained.

“The atmosphere was igniting and helped to engage these families and friends in a time of celebration,” she said. “It is all about the journey, folks. Our volunteers know that it takes time and effort to connect with someone. The benefits of these friendships can last a lifetime. We are so thankful for all of our volunteers and board members who came out last Wednesday.”

Several businesses provided sodas and pizza for all to enjoy during the festive event.

Cummins said the organization is gearing up for its Bowl to Impact a Child April 18 to get teams together for their biggest fundraiser. Funds raised supports the mentoring program for area youth.
