ksp2 logo 300HANSON, Ky. (11/27/19) — Trooper Jacob Stephens of Kentucky State Police Post 2 initiated a traffic stop 4:57 p.m. Tuesday on a 2011 Nissan Altima after receiving a tip the driver had arrest warrants.

KSP reported Stephens came in contact with a man identified as Chad Foster, 34, and 32-year-old  passenger Kayla Noel, both of Madisonville. Further investigation revealed both had warrants issued for their arrest, and the vehicle they were occupying had been reported stolen from Henderson.

Foster was arrested and taken to Hopkins County Jail. He was charged with receiving stolen property (less than $10,000), improperty registration plate display, no registration receipt, no insurance card and failure to notify DOT of address change.

Noel also was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property (less than $10,000).

KSP indicated Foster and Noel were additionally served unrelated arrest warrants.
