apollo eagles logo 2015OWENSBORO, Ky. (2/9/19) — The Apollo E-Gals won on the road on Friday night, defeating the Daviess County Lady Panthers 62-45 in a 9th District girls' basketball game.

With the win, Apollo improved to 16-10 overall and 4-2 in the 9th District.

Host Daviess County dropped to 6-21 overall and 0-6 in the district with the loss.

The E-Gals led 29-21 at halftime.

Amber Dunn scored a game-high 16 points to lead Apollo to the victory. Exiting the district matchup directly behind Dunn in scoring, Kassidy Daugherty and Lexi Shadowen posted 15 points apiece for the E-Gals.

Kailey Bowers paced Daviess County with 12 points. Finishing near double figures in scoring for the Lady Panthers, Emma Anderson netted nine points.
