4535057PADUCAH, KY., — Edwina Martin Byford, 57, passed away at her home in Paducah, KY on January 10, 2018. Edwina was a native of Hopkins County and worked 34 years in healthcare. Edwina was born in Madisonville, KY and was raised in Dalton, KY. She is a member of the Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dalton.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Edwin and Ruth Bone Martin.

Survivors include her husband Lee Byford, son Wesley Cartwright, step-son Jamie (Melissa) Cartwright, step-daughter Kristi Tate, 2 step-granddaughters, 3 step-grandsons, brother Bobby Martin, step-brothers Michael (Joanna) Lewis and Jamie Lewis; and step-mother, Lana Martin.

The funeral will be held at 1pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, KY with Bro. Eric Nelson officiating. Burial to follow at Dalton Cemetery in Dalton.

Visitation will be from 4pm until 7pm Saturday and from 11am until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Preston Dever, Joel Padfield, JR Bone, Dalton Byford, Charlie Riley, Sherman Tate and Fred Capital. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Smith, Carl Hurst and Melvin Hicklin.

Memorial contributions may be made in Edwina’s memory to the Dalton Cemetery Fund.
