Gerald Doc Lemon JarvisEARLINGTON, KY., — Gerald ‘Doc’ Lemon Jarvis, 74, of Earlington passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 at his home. He was born in Nortonville on January 6, 1945 to the late Paul and Arvana Swan Jarvis. He was a member of Pritchetts Chapel where he attended regularly as his health allowed. He was a retired construction worker and over the road truck driver. He loved to fish.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Deloris Jarvis, an infant daughter Patricia Elaine Jarvis, 2 brothers Donnie Jarvis, Bill Jarvis and 1 sister Pearl Camplin.

He is survived by his wife Lois J. Jarvis of Earlington, his children Bobby (Ludi) Selph of Hudson, FL., Tammy Jarvis Stokes of Nortonville, Rodney (Janie) Jarvis of Madisonville, Steven (Roxanne) Jarvis of Sebree, step children Frank (Kriston) Cope of Madisonville and Chana Irvin of Dawson Springs, 2 brothers Fred (Becky) Jarvis of Nortonville, Sonny Jarvis of Earlington, 3 sisters Betty (Don) Camplin of Madisonville, Nora Bell Aldridge of Nortonville, Alma Ray of Madisonville, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 12noon at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Steve Terry officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 10:30am until service time at 12noon at the funeral home.
