Hoppers logoHUNTINGBURG, Ind. (7/15/19) — Hoptown remained in the win column on the road on Sunday, downing host Dubois County 7-4 in an Ohio Valley League game at League Stadium.

Tyler Walton earned the pitching win for the Hoppers. Walton pitched three innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out one. Two other pitchers, Cam Barlow and Micah Genter, entered the game from the bullpen and helped to close out the matchup in relief roles. Barlow recorded the last three outs to notch the save.

Chase Hug suffered the pitching loss for the Bombers. Hug surrendered three runs on three hits over two innings, striking out two.

Seth Bennett went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Hoptown in the hits column.

Matt Ellis paced Dubois County at the plate, providing two hits in four at-bats.

Hoptown and Dubois County combined to commit seven errors in the Ohio Valley League game.
